We are now free to roam Paris and enjoy without the stress of the competition.

I, Fred, finally was able to sleep right after they announced the top competitors.

Hello everyone,

On behalf of the team, we would like to thank everyone for their support and guidance as we embark upon an exciting international competition. We will surely do our best in Paris, France and hopefully a Top 3 finish in the Embedded Development competition in the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2008 World Finals!

There will be a live broadcast and videos online from the Imagine Cup and MSDN’s Channel 8 websites.

The Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals will take place at the Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel Hotel from July 3 - 8, 2008. Below is a high level overview of the event agenda:

• Thursday, July 3 - Arrivals / Opening Ceremony
• Friday, July 4 - Competitions Commence
• Saturday, July 5 - Competitions Conclude
• Sunday, July 6 - City of Paris Cultural Day
• Monday July 7 - Software Design, Embedded Development and Game Development Finalist Presentations / Digital Theater
• Tuesday, July 8 - Student Showcase / World Festival (Awards Ceremony) / Farewell Party
• Wednesday, July 9 - Departures

The sleepless nights, the stress inducing reports, the ulcer causing problems. We thought our journey was at an end, but it looks like it has just begun. Let’s all give a round of applause to Team EAT for advancing into the Finals of the Embedded Development Competition in the Microsoft Imagine Cup. The finals will be held in Paris, France on July 3-8. Team EAT (Nick, Fred, Walter, and Juan) will be the only one representing the United States and the North American continent. We are all in a state of shock and the full reality has not truly hit us yet. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us and aided us in our project. GO EAT!!!!
