Team EAT did not make it into the Top 6 (Round 2) in the Embedded Development competition.
Thanks for all of your support!
We are now free to roam Paris and enjoy without the stress of the competition.
I, Fred, finally was able to sleep right after they announced the top competitors.
Happy 4th of July everyone!
Check out the photos below.. it’s awesome as it can be… not really. I’m still awake and it’s 4:20am local time in Paris.

Hello everyone, Fred here uploading photos for Paris, Day One.
I haven’t much time or enough sleep to type up the whole experience… expect that after the everthing or maybe later tonight (Paris time)!
Check out the photos!
Hello everyone,
On behalf of the team, we would like to thank everyone for their support and guidance as we embark upon an exciting international competition. We will surely do our best in Paris, France and hopefully a Top 3 finish in the Embedded Development competition in the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2008 World Finals!
There will be a live broadcast and videos online from the Imagine Cup and MSDN’s Channel 8 websites.

It has started, Team EAT is in the news… below is the Press Telegram article talking about us.
We would like to remind you that CSULB’s College of Engineering is having a Press Conference on Monday, June 30th @ 3PM in ECS-105 for Team Embedded Applications Technology.
Also, there will be a little get together Monday night @ 7PM at Bob’s house to celebrate and congratulate the team for making the finals. RSVP to get directions to Bob’s place.
If all is planned correctly, the press conference can be seen live online @ BeachTV or on TV in your local Long Beach Charter (Ch 18) or Lakewood Comcast (Ch 28).
The brochures have been printed. A little compromise here and there and lots of ‘No, I will not do it.’
Check it out below.
Can I get a doll house made out of Plexiglas? Oh, here it is. Thanks!
The Dean had Mike Fritz create for us a House made out of plexiglass that matches our animation video. We will be bringing this along to France with us… hopefully in one piece.
See them below. Who wants to create/add furniture?
